How we work
We buy from makers, not middlemen
Every piece we sell comes from a workshop we have visited. That means we can tell you who made your chair, what the timber was before it was a chair, and how to look after it for the next twenty years.
It also means we buy in small quantities. When something sells out, it is usually because one person could only make so many of them this month.

Questions, answered
In-stock pieces leave our workshop within 72 hours and typically arrive in 2–4 working days. Made-to-order furniture takes 4–6 weeks; the lead time is shown on the product page before you buy.
Yes. Smaller items ship worldwide, and furniture ships across Europe on a dedicated two-person service. Shipping is calculated at checkout once you enter your address.
Send us a photo within 14 days and we will replace the piece or refund you in full, including return shipping. Breakages in transit are our problem, not yours.
Of course — you have 30 days from delivery, as long as the piece is unused and in its original packaging. Made-to-order items are the exception, since they are built for you.
Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from radiators, wipe spills promptly, and re-oil once a year. Every piece ships with care instructions specific to its finish.
